Hello everyone!

I have a Cisco Air-AP 1242AG-A-K9. I have the two radios enabled and FastEthernet as well. I added the ssid to broadcast. On my laptop I see two wireless access points coming from the 1242AG. The default which I think is coming from the Fastethernet and the one from the the SSID. I have excellent signal strength on the SSID, but very low on the fastethernet. I don't know if there is an option where I can just see one wireless access point and with excellent connection.

Any suggestions please?

What is the difference between CISCO AP 1131 and CISCO AP1242. Will 1242 give better signal strength than 1131?
How do I configure CISCO 1131 as an Access Point + DHCP server .
